September Elopement in the White Mountain National Forest: Courtney & Meghan

From the very start we loved everything about Courtney & Meghan! They are the most authentic and kindest couple. For their elopement day they chose to celebrate their marriage as just the two of them so they could be fully present and in the moment. To avoid crowds they also decided on a midweek elopement.

We started at the couple’s amazing AirBnb capturing their details and preparations for the hike before moving onto one of my favorite under 4,000 foot peaks in the White Mountain National forest near Franconia. The hike was a little longer at about 4.6 miles round trip but absolutely worth it, especially at sunset.

Courtney & Meghan changed into their elopement attire at the summit, had a beautiful first look, exchanged vows, and even toasted with a tequila shot unity ceremony! There were tears of happiness and so many hugs that my heart was bursting for these two who deserved the world.

Towards the end of the evening right before the sun set behind the mountain they had an emotional first dance with bluetooth earbuds as to not disturb other hikers or the natural world around them.
