A few things we live and breathe…

While we have a dictionary of poses designed to make you look amazing, we prefer capturing your day in a candid, documentary style as the events unfold.

Our greatest shared love is nature. We are Leave No Trace (LNT) photographers. Our goal is to run our business in the most sustainable way possible. We do not use smoke bombs, confetti, or have any practices which may disturb plant or wildlife and we practice outdoor wilderness ethics religiously.
We love educating others about environmental sustainability when questions arise! Feel free to contact us if you would like to learn more about how you can be the best steward of the outdoors.

We’re all about keeping it real. When we edit your photos, we preserve the beautiful colors which surrounded you during your session. We won’t make anything appear overly golden or extremely desaturated. We want your photos to be as magical as the moment we captured them, so we obsess over each photo and hand-calibrate them until everything is “just right”.
Answers to some of the common questions!
What do you do in bad weather?
Fog, rain, wind, sunshine, they’re all part of adventure! There is no such thing as “bad weather”. Well, barring a monsoon or a whiteout blizzard. But seriously, while we do keep an eye out for your safety, we will shoot in almost any weather! Fun fact: best photos happen in cloudy, foggy, dramatic weather!
Can I bring my dog?
The short answer is, yes! We love dogs, cats, horses… and all of your pets. The more the merrier. We have lots of suggestions for you to read on how to elope with your dog!
What should we expect once we book you?
Before you even book, we want to get to know you! We’ll set up a virtual meeting as soon as you inquire. In this meeting we don’t just discuss your elopement day, we want to learn your whole love story. This helps us tell your story on the big day!
After booking we start right in on planning, and waste no time in making your dream elopement a reality. You’ll immediately get access to our elopement guide, questionnaires, and all of our vendor recommendations, plus Natalie’s assistance any time you need it. We’re always an email, text, zoom call, or phone call away!
Do you have any other vendor connections?
Abso-freaking-lutely! We know some amazing videographers, hair and makeup artists, planners, florists… The list goes on! Feel free to ask us for help and advice at any time. When you book with us we aren’t just there for photography needs, we’ll help you every step of the way.
Do you help us pose if we need help?
We love capturing your candid moments, but are happy to help you with any poses and adjust you to make sure your photos look stunning. Every couple is different and we adjust our artistic process to match your needs.
Do you back up the photos you take?
We photograph on state-of-the-art Nikon cameras with dual memory card slots. All of your photos are backed up from the second they are taken! After the session, we keep at least two copies of your photos on external hard drives, at all times. Though we keep backups of all photos indefinitely, it’s on you to back up your finalized photos, once delivered to you. We recommend storing your photos in the cloud and on a reliable external hard drive. We recommend WD Passport Series hard drives.
Do I have to pay in full when I book you?
Definitely not. We only require a 30% retainer fee in order to book your date. The remaining 70% balance is due 30 days before your wedding. We can create any kind of custom payment plan to best fit your budget!
