New Hampshire

Our home state gets to go first. And for a good reason. Located in the heart of New England - New Hampshire has it all. We have the tallest mountains in the Northeast in the central part of the state, a massive lakes region, quaint and sparsely-populated north country where you can truly get away from it all.

Perfect for:

  • Mountain lovers: hikers, skiers, mountain bikers

  • Those with a great appreciation for epic views

  • Sunrise/sunset elopements

Maine

The oldest state in the nation and the largest state in New England has no shortage of elopement-worthy locations. Maine is known for the rugged coastline, quaint fishing villages and that “quintessential New England” feeling. Home to the only National Park in the northeast - Mount Desert Island is a great spot to elope or even spend your honeymoon.

Perfect for:

  • Ocean lovers

  • Those seeking minimalist landscapes

  • Seafood lovers

  • Sunrise elopements

Vermont

For some reason not too many people think of Vermont when they consider eloping in New England and that’s a shame because the Green Mountain state is a Mecca for mountain bikers, hikers, and skiers. With a bustling beer culture and hipster towns - this is a very laid back place to elope without the crowds.

Perfect for:

  • Skiers, hikers & mountain bikers

  • Beer lovers

  • Those interested in a boutique experience

  • Foodies

Massachussetts

Much like the neighbor to the north, Massachusetts offers everything from mountains to the shining sea in terms of elopements locations! Mountain lovers will LOVE getting married in the Berkshires while those interested in the ocean will find plenty of epic locations on the coast - it’s the Bay State after all! We have be en DYING to photograph an elopement on the National Seashore on Cape Cod.

Perfect for:

  • Ocean lovers looking for a less rugged coastal feel than Maine

  • Mountain lovers who also love culture & arts

Connecticut

Connecticut is a diverse state with a little something for everyone. The beautiful rolling Litchfield Hills in the northwestern part of the state, historical towns and cities, and of course rugged beaches with sparkling sand. You can stay in a cute historic bed and breakfast, elope on the beach in the morning and end your day at sunset on a small summit taking in Berkshires to the north. Connecticut is also one of the best states for craft beer lovers featuring some of the best New England IPA’s and sours around.

Perfect for:

  • Lovers of history

  • If you want the ocean and the forest all in one small state

Rhode Island

Rhode Island is a tiny state - in fact, you can walk across the entire state in less than a day! And while most of the area is taken up by Providence and the suburbs, getting married on Block Island, while a little bit challenging logistically, can be beautiful.

Perfect for:

  • Those who love more rugged coastline, but with every convenience just a short drive away

  • An upscale experience in Newport
